The TV project he had to see Achille Lauro protagonist in Rai would have failed. According to rumors circulating in recent days, the two event evenings scheduled in prime time on the flagship network between November and December would not take place, at least for the next season. In their place, for the Roman artist, however, a showcase would open on the opposite front: the San Siro concert broadcast on Canale 5.
The Rai project that will never see the light
Of the hypothesis of a show event built around Achille Lauro we had been talking about it for weeks. The project, launched at the time by Giuseppe Candela on Dagospia, included two episodes in prime time, designed to retrace the singer's artistic journey between music, guests and his recognizable visual dimension. The hypothesized location was Friday evening, between November and December, a particularly prestigious time slot in the schedule.
According to reports, however, the project remained in an undefined phase and would not have materialized in time to enter the autumn schedules. The official reasons have not been disclosed, but the result is that the two evenings, at least for now, would not go ahead.
Mediaset secures the San Siro concert
It would have been the one to shift the balance Mediaset. In fact, in the autumn Canale 5 will broadcast the concert Achille Lauro held at the San Siro Stadium in Milan last June 15th, one of the most important stages of his career. The show, filmed by Mediaset cameras during the evening, will thus become a television event in itself.
The artist, essentially, would have chosen Biscione's proposal, leaving Rai with a space to fill in the early Friday evenings of December.
The possible plan B: Sal Da Vinci
The indiscretions of Gabriele Parpiglia are concentrated precisely on the name destined to cover that void, who through his newsletter had anticipated the possible stop to Lauro's project and relaunched the hypothesis of an arrival in Rai of Sal Da Vinci for a couple of early evenings. The Neapolitan singer-songwriter, fresh from his victory at the 2026 Sanremo Festival with Forever yeshad already been indicated as one of the musical faces of the next Rai season.
Achille Lauro, an autumn away from X Factor
The change of network adds to another news regarding the artist. Lauro, in fact, will no longer sit behind the counter X Factor: his place on the jury was taken by Iramawho spoke publicly about a peaceful handover and the advice he received from his colleague. For Lauro it means closing a television experience on Sky's talent show and moving its center of gravity elsewhere, with the great San Siro event intended for the generalist audience of Canale 5.
The obligatory caution remains: none of the parties involved, from Rai to Mediaset to the singer's staff, have confirmed or denied what emerged. The definitive picture will only be clarified with the official announcements on the schedules of the two networks.
