Stevie Nicks will be present at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding, and not only that: a source says that the rock legend is expected to perform during the ceremony.
Taylor Swift's wedding will be held at Madison Square Garden over the Fourth of July weekend, The New York Times reported earlier this week. The Times reported that the festivities will begin on July 2 with “an intimate gathering of about 100 people,” followed by a larger event including “about 1,000 guests” the next day.
Swift and Nicks have been friends for a long time and have often praised each other in public. In 2024, the icon wrote a poem for the CD version of Swift's eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department. The singer mentioned Nicks in the last track of the standard version of the album, Clara Bow.
That same year, Nicks had in her own way blessed Swift's relationship with Kelce. “She's fine now and I think she's found a good man,” she told Rolling Stone in 2024. “I hope they fall in love more and more and live happily ever after. Let him do his thing and she do hers, and then let them get back together and get married and have children if she wants it. I wish you all this.”
Last year, during an appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” Swift expressed her gratitude to Stevie Nicks. “I have Stevie Nicks in my life who constantly influences me in a positive way,” he said. «Being able to talk to her on the phone, listen to her experiences… I feel very lucky that she passed on to me her approach to life, so magical, wonderful and wise». Earlier this month, he wore a blue and orange T-shirt that read “Stevie Knicks” while sitting courtside during Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
