Forty years after its publication, Giuni Russo returns to digital platforms with a new version of one of his most famous songs. In fact, the only official remix of will be published on June 30th Algherothe song written by Giuni Russo together with Maria Antonietta Sisini and over time it has become one of the most representative titles of the Sicilian artist's repertoire.
The operation was born to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of the song, originally released in 1986 and still very present today in the Italian musical imagination thanks to its atmosphere suspended between pop, experimentation and Mediterranean references.
Alghero, the official remix for the 40th anniversary arrives
The project bears the signature of Maria Antonietta Sisinihistorical collaborator and co-author of much of the repertoire of Giuni Russo which directly followed this initiative dedicated to the anniversary of the song.
This is the only official remix authorized to celebrate the forty years of Algheroa choice that aims to bring together a new generation of listeners with one of the singer's best-known songs.
The new version was created by DJ Ferraciniwho worked on the original material while maintaining the identity of the song recognizable and proposing a reinterpretation designed for today's audience.

Published in the second half of the 1980s, Alghero over the years it has become one of the most representative songs of the production of Giuni Russo.
