The song is an exploration of the anxiety and sense of loss that runs through life in the contemporary city, where the background noise of everyday life suffocates the voice of the individual.
The protagonist moves like a shadow through the streets, in search of an identity that defines him, of a name capable of giving shape to his own self-illusion.
It is an internal struggle fought on two fronts: the ghosts of the past that resurface and torment, and a present that oppresses and does not allow one to breathe.
The writing, direct and visceral, conveys the sense of dizziness of those who feel suspended, in search of a fixed point.
Musically, the song fits fully into the new indie punk rock twist of the album, with distorted guitars and pressing drums that amplify the emotional tension of the lyrics.
It is a cry of confusion but also of resistance, the attempt to give a name to what is scary in order to finally face it.
A song that perfectly embodies the rebellious and introspective spirit of the entire album.
