“While Naples sleeps”, the album by Hal Quartièr
The title comes from the song of the same name, the heart of the project and synthesis of its suspended and melancholic atmosphere. The image of a sleeping Naples becomes the underlying theme of a record that explores connections, absences and transformations. On the sonic level it marks an evolution: Hal Quartièr he broadens his language by approaching more pop sounds and the music played, without giving up the urban sensitivity that characterizes him. The project is mainly carried out together with Falco.
The focus track is Yes, we're stayingborn with Jake The Fury after the experience on X Factor. This is how the artist describes the song: “Even if the song presents itself as a dialogue addressed to a female figure, for me it speaks of something bigger: the search for a bond capable of becoming a point of reference, a stable presence to return to.”

“While Naples sleeps”, the story track by track
1. It can't rain forever. The intro is one of the most personal songs of the project, born in a difficult moment in the artist's life. The production by Noya, Manuel Erry and Falco accompanies the story without overpowering it, leaving room for words and emotion.
2. Si ce staje ft. Jake The Fury. Behind the form of a sentimental dialogue lies a reflection on the need for a stable point of reference. The collaboration with Jake La Furia was born from the mutual respect developed after X Factor: the rapper chose this song, among the most urban on the album.
3. Do U Love Me? (Comm staje). An uptempo track born in Gaeta together with Angelo Riccio, Falco and Kamy, and arrived at its definitive form with the producer Oliver Made. At the center is an unresolved question: was what was experienced really love?
4. I fell in love with you ft. LDA, Eddie Brock. A ballad about the initial phase of falling in love, made up of small everyday details. The contrast between the darker sound atmosphere and the emotional openness of the text defines its identity. Born solo, it was then completed by LDA and Eddie Brock.
5. I can't swim. Written on the spot in Florence, it is among the most spontaneous tracks. It tells of a night of passion and an intense physical connection that fails to become something deeper, a reflection on one's emotional limits and on being the right people at the wrong time.
6. Weak point ft. Kamy. One of the brightest moments of the album. The song talks about the possibility of reopening to a feeling after a closed phase, and the difficulty of welcoming happiness when you have been accustomed to pain for a long time. Kamy's voice adds delicacy to the story.
7. Saturday Night Fever ft. Aka7even. A lighter and more carefree parenthesis, born from the bond of friendship between the two artists. With sounds that recall Mexican influences and a sunnier approach, it is a moment of escape in the emotional story of the album.
8. I'm afraid to sleep – Interlude (with Alfonso D'Apice). A skit that introduces a more narrative and theatrical dimension. The voice is that of Alfonso D'Apice, and the piece reflects on the weight of the night and on the thoughts that return. It also marks a turning point in the artist's path, towards a more lucid and aware gaze, without losing the authentic connection with music.
9. I Don't Miss You Anymore ft. Rowing. The song marks the moment in which the artist becomes fully aware of overcoming a relationship. Born from an idea by Vogue in which he immediately recognized himself, he returns this passage with clarity and detachment, also thanks to the contribution of Andrea Schiavone.
10. Without her. The most intense ballad on the album. It reflects on how those who grow up in difficult contexts experience relationships in an absolute and all-encompassing way: when a person becomes the emotional center of their life, losing them means losing everything. A profound vulnerability, which also anticipates a possible future sonic direction.
11. The Moon ft. Thousand. Inspired by a real-life experience, it unfolds as an imaginary conversation between two former partners. Mille plays a voice that brings back memories and regrets, in an intense dialogue on the authentic meaning of love.
12. While Naples sleeps. The title track, produced by Falco, contains the essence of the album: a nocturnal reflection on the inability to let go of a person who continues to occupy every space of memory. A story suspended between desire, melancholy and the need for liberation.
13. The end (Partenope) ft. Nesli. The album ends with a song that represents a fundamental step in Hal Quartièr's journey. Born from a spontaneous meeting with Nesli on social media, it tells of the closing of a cycle and seals a relationship that has transformed from artistic esteem into friendship.
