Last night Taylor Swift unexpectedly took to the stage at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles for the premiere of Toy Story 5 to which he contributed I Knew It, I Knew You. He sang it live for the first time, on the piano (he has published both one in recent days plan version that one acoustic version of the piece).
But no one expected to hear her sing You've Got a Friend in Methe symbolic song of the saga of Toy Storyin a duet with the author of the piece Randy Newman, one of the greatest American singer-songwriters, sitting at the piano.
“Some other folks might be a little bit smarter than I,” Swift sang in the song's bridge, to which Newman, 82, responded, “No one is smarter than you.”

During the evening, Swift asked Tom Hanks, who voices Woody in the original version, to autograph her video of Toy Story. “I told her she should also bring an old VCR to autograph, that could end up in the Smithsonian,” Hanks told USA Today. Judging by the photos circulating online, it appears that other cast members also signed the videotape that Swift proudly displayed on the red carpet.
Written and produced by Jack Antonoff, I Knew It, I Knew You represents a return to Swift's country roots. In the United States, country broadcasters responded by playing it in high rotation as had not happened with a Swift song in a decade.

We wrote this piece out of adoration for these characters who made us laugh and helped us learn life lessons and think beyond the horizon throughout our childhood.”
The film written and directed by Andrew Stanton and Kenna Harris will be released in Italy on June 18th. It will be released in the United States on the 19th, the day on which the twentieth anniversary of the release of Taylor Swift's debut single falls. Tim McGraw.
