The very first date of Vasco Rossi's 2026 tour was held yesterday at the Romeo Neri Stadium in Rimini. It is the so-called soundcheck, a concert reserved for members of the Blasco Fan Club which today has over 125,000 members and is the largest in Italy, also at the top in Europe and in the top 5 in the world: the furthest fans have reached the Riviera from as far away as Australia, Argentina and Uruguay. Then tonight there will be date zero, again in Rimini. The stadium tour will start from Ferrara (Parco Urbano G. Bassani) on Friday 5 June.
On the eve Vasco had said: «I'll start with a piece that I haven't done live for a long time…». And at 8.47pm he attacked with I'm going all outwho in fact hadn't played live since 1983, in front of 24 thousand people. After the first song came the greeting: «Hello Rimini! Christmas has passed, Easter has passed and now it's time for our celebration…”. The peculiarity of this year's setlist is that in the first part there are only songs from the late 70s and 80s. From It's late now to Liver, mushy liverfrom Alibi to I'm still in a coma and then HI And Monday.
Towards the end, surprisingly, Claudio Golinelli also appeared on stage, returning from a long hospitalization for bronchopneumonia, who took up the bass to It's just us. Same thing, obviously: Albachiara. And before that Song And Reckless life (who opened the concerts last year).
