The song combines the Latin rhythm of bachata with Italian pop, and uses this pair of languages to carry forward an admittedly summery sentimental story.
In this song we find on the one hand the rhythm that pushes us to dance, while the lyrics are full of nostalgia, and take us back to the places where a love began and ended.
Crowded beaches, seafronts, kiosks, illuminated nights on the sea. These are scenarios that the singer-songwriter from Romagna has had behind him since his birth and which he uses here as true compositional elements.
On the meaning of the song, Alexander stated: “I wanted to tell the story of the Italian summer as we experience it firsthand: made up of first loves, sudden nostalgias and memories destined to last over time. The Riviera is not just a geographical place, but a state of mind”.
Who is Alexander: from Rimini to the United States, back home
Alexanderat the registry office Alessandro Coliwas born in Rimini in 1997 and grew up with Italian songwriting as a reference.
