There is no longer good blood between MGK and Yungblud, and the late Machine Gun Kelly wasted no time in reminding his colleague of this.
In a now-deleted comment, MGK called Yungblud a “silver spooned preachy wanker,” accusing him of hiding a failed tour behind the shield of mental health. “You canceled a tour because you weren't selling tickets and said it was due to mental health, but the next day the paparazzi caught you at Nobu. You're a Pinocchio.”
MGK's accusation comes under a video in which his colleague complained about the prices of concerts, proposing more accessible solutions for his Bludfest: «Live shows are becoming unsustainable. We wanted to come back and offer 20 bands for £65, because that's how it should be. There is nothing in this world that cannot be achieved if you do it with sincerity and for the right reasons.”
In reality, MGK also didn't like this part: «The ticket prices for your concerts still cost the same as those of others». Concluding: “Stop talking, you moralistic wanker born in a shirt.”
Yungblud did not respond to the provocation, preferring to leave the answer to a member of his entourage: «Dom has nothing to say about it as he is very busy with his sold-out North American tour and with the creation of his next album. He really doesn't have time to deal with these things, but we wish MGK all the best.”
The two have been friends for a long time, even exchanging features on their respective albums. In the last year the situation has changed and last month, in the single Fix Ur Face by MGK, came what to many seemed like a diss track towards Yungblud, also fueled by a tweet from MGK which confirmed the suggestion that the phrase “Mickey Mouse kids turned rockstars / leaving private school, tryna be outlaws” was actually referring to the former friend.
