“Seeds of Poison” is the new single from Zero Frameworka descent into those relationships in which the need for closeness ends up being confused with dependence, fear and emotional attrition.
The song tells the moment in which a bond continues to exist even after having lost all balance, dragging those who experience it into a mechanism made of attraction, wounds and continuous returns.
The images present in the text amplify this sense of loss: a wounded wolf that continues to attack, dark rooms that absorb every way out, a train launched towards an unknown direction. Everything contributes to building a dark and visceral imagery, in which the desire to feel indispensable to someone survives even within toxic relationships.
On the sonic level, “Seeds of Poison” intertwines dark rock, industrial electronics and post-rock openings in a dense and cinematic writing. Sequencers, synthesizers and layered guitars coexist in a compact and nocturnal flow, maintaining a strong personal identity.
