Sexto 'Nplugged 2026 anticipates the new edition of the festival with Convergences 2026scheduled for Saturday May 23 from 10.00 to A. Pitter Hydroelectric Power Plant in Malnisioa Montereale Valcellinain the province of Pordenone. A free day of live music, visual arts, sound research, sustainability and discovery of the territory.
The event, born as a spin off of Sexto 'Npluggedreaches its fifth edition and confirms the link with one of the most evocative spaces in Friuli Venezia Giulia: an early twentieth century power plant that combines industrial archaeology, natural landscape and artistic experimentation.
Convergenze 2026: live music at the Malnisio power station
The musical part of Convergences 2026 will start from 7.30 pm in the Turbine Room of the A. Pitter Hydroelectric Power Plant.
Among the protagonists there will be Maria Chiara ArgiròItalian pianist, composer and producer based in London, with a language that crosses contemporary jazz and electronics. Also scheduled Indian Wellsone of the most recognizable projects of contemporary Italian electronics, between ambient, IDM and cinematic tensions.
The two artists, already together in the recording project Forgottenwill give life to a special performance designed for Convergences. Complete the musical line up Physaliawith sound research built in dialogue with the natural and industrial landscape of the power station.
Visual arts and installations: from Michelangelo Pistoletto to FUSE*
Alongside the music, Convergences 2026 will host a journey dedicated to visual arts and contemporary experimentation, active in the spaces of the Centrale starting from 10.00 am.
Among the main interventions is planned the Venus of Rags XXL Of Michelangelo Pistolettoin collaboration with Cittadellarte And Third Paradise. The public will be invited to participate in the work by bringing unused clothing, thus contributing to its collective construction.
The exhibition itinerary will also include Mimicrysigned audio/video installation FUSE*, Jellyfish Of Filwood Philosophy, 2087 / Flowers Are Blooming in Antarctica Of Daniele Castellano And Green Waves Of Freak of Nature.
The talk Symbionts between nature, artifice and new languages
In the afternoon, the Central auditorium will host the talk Symbionts: the ecology of hybridization between nature and artificea moment of discussion dedicated to the relationships between art, environment and technology.
They will participate in the meeting Mattia Carettafounder of FUSE*And Francesco Saverio Teruzzi For Cittadellarte / Third Paradise.
Convergencies 2026: activities, visits and observation of the sky
Throughout the day there will also be training activities, naturalistic experiences and moments of in-depth study.
It will be active from 10.00 am Pedalingfree bicycle rental service to explore the surrounding area. It will also be possible to take part in guided tours of the A. Pitter Hydroelectric Power Plant and at the openings of the archaeological museum Arcaios.

Convergences 2026 will be held on Saturday May 23 from 10.00 to A. Pitter Hydroelectric Power Plant Of Malnisioa Montereale Valcellina.
Entrance is free, but booking is recommended. For evening concerts, access will be guaranteed in order of booking, until the maximum capacity is reached.
The event will take place entirely in the spaces of the Hydroelectric Plant, therefore even in case of rain.
