The Country Star Will Helm The Show Solo After Co-Hosting With Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning Last Year
Lainey Wilson Has Been Stard to Return As Host For the 59th Annual Country Music Association Awards.
This Will Be Wilson's Second Time Hosting The Show, But First Time Helming it. Last Year, The Country Star Was Part of a Hosting Trio That Also Included Fellow Musician Luke Bryan and Forment Nfl Star Peyton Manning.
“I Grew Up Watching The Cma Awards like it was the super Bowl, I know to be hosting for a second year is a True Honor,” Wilson Said in a statement. “I'm humbled that cma has trusted me with this role, and i can't wait to love on this genre that has given me so much.”
Along with hosting, Wilson is up for Six Cma Awards This Year, Tied For the Most with Ella Langley and Megan Moroney. She's nominated for entertainer of the Year and female vocalist of the Year; Single and Song of the Year for “4x4xu”; Album of the Year for Whirlwind; and music video for the year for “Somewhere over laredo.” Wilson Won Two of Those Prizes at the 2024 CMA Awards, Female Vocalist of the Year and Music Video of the Year for “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.”
The 2025 CMA Awards Will Air Live from Nashville On Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 8 PM et on ABC and Stream The Following Day On Hulu.
Wilson Released Her Most recent album, WhirlwindLast August, and Kicked Off at World Tour in Support of the LP This Year. The Most Recent North American Leunched Last Month and Its Set to Continue Through Octaber and Early November, with Wilson Receiving Support FROM Like Ernest, Drake Milligan, Muscadine Bloodline, Maddox Batson, and Lauren Watkins. She'll Headline Bridgestone Arena in Nashville This Thursday.
