What are U2 doing on the roof of a school bus in Mexico? Of course they play. And what do they play? Street of Dreamswhat should be the first single from the band's new album. The video of this performance appeared on U2's social networks during the night and features the entire band – in fact there is also Larry Mullen Jr. returning from the various operations that had forced him to stop and lose the group's residency in Las Vegas – during the shooting of a video clip. The scene is in a small square in a town where the band performs on the roof of a bus in front of their audience.
U2 also shared another backstage video, explaining that during recording, a storm damaged an electrical generator, forcing them to stop. The four musicians were thus welcomed by some inhabitants of the area and performed, under torrential rain, in an acoustic version of Vertigo.
The release date of Street of Dreamsor the new album, which follows the release of the two EPs (Days of Ash And Easter Lily) from the past few months, has not yet been shared.
