With over three million tickets sold, now in its fifth edition, the triumphal journey of Vasco Live 2026 he definitively handed himself over to the history of pop music.
Much more than a simple succession of extraordinary concerts, the tour turned out to be a true generational road trip, sung at the top of their lungs from the first to the last second by anyone who found themselves listening to even a single note.
The tour officially ended at Blueenergy Stadium in Udinewith the second of the two completely sold out dates on 28 and 29 June, leaving behind the echo of a promise largely kept. The Komandante had in fact promised to return “to the home” of his fans, choosing stadiums and locations that were decidedly more intimate than in the past – with the exception of the historic parenthesis in the urban park of Ferrara.
From Rimini to Ferrara, passing through Olbia (where the rocker returned after about forty years, also receiving Salmo's warm welcome) up to Bari and Ancona: each city has added an unforgettable chapter to this immense collective story. Blasco himself summed up the experience with one of his most famous and immortal phrases: “Everything went very smoothly”.
Behind the international technological show, which opened the season of major musical events, a mammoth organizational machine moved. A team of 501 people worked intensely for days, dismantling and reassembling the iron structures in complete safety at each stage. This effort supported a band with incredible harmony, further renewed by the arrangements signed by Vince Pastano.
While the spotlights of 2026 have just turned off, history doesn't stop at all: the future has already begun and is heading straight towards the Capital. In the 2027 in fact, the fifty years of Vasco Rossi's glorious career will be celebrated, with ten consecutive concerts at the Olympic Stadium for an entire month of total celebration.
This enormous residency, the largest ever held in Italy, anticipated a now international trend. Even Keith Richards recently declared that the Rolling Stones are considering a similar format, expressing the desire to play in Rome; a choice that confirms how Blasco was, once again, a precursor of the times, ready to write a new page in the history of live music.
