Vasco Rossi lights up Rimini. While waiting for tonight's concert, May 30, which officially inaugurates the 2026 tour, the Emilian singer-songwriter has transformed the traditional soundcheck open to fan club members in an event capable of attracting around 24 thousand people to the Romeo Neri stadium and thousands of other spectators in the streets and on the balconies surrounding the stadium.
The atmosphere is that of great occasions right from the start. At 8.47pm the band starts with “Vado al massimo” and the stadium explodes. A choice that surprises many fans, considering the statements made the day before, and which immediately marks the character of the evening. Vasco enters the stage greeted by a roar and leads the audience in a dress rehearsal that has very little of the technical event and a lot of the actual concert.
After the opening song, Rossi takes a few moments to greet the audience: “Hello Rimini! Christmas is over, Easter is over and now it's time for our celebration…”, before immersing himself in a setlist that looks decisively to the Eighties and the roots of his repertoire.
The most interesting part of the show is in fact represented by the recovery of songs that had not occupied a central role in the concerts for a long time. “Now it's late”, “Liver, smashed liver” and “A new song for her” find space, along with other significant returns such as “Alibi”, “I'm still in a coma”, “Tango… (of jealousy)” and “Monday”. More than a simple nostalgia operation, the selection seems to tell of the desire to reconnect with a crucial phase of one's artistic history.
Alongside the recoveries from the past, there are also new features, with the performance of “Bolle di soap” and “Marea”, inserted in a context that continuously alternates memory and present.
Among the most exciting moments of the evening is the surprise appearance of the historic bassist Claudio Golinelli. The musician, who in recent weeks had announced his absence from the first dates of the tour after being hospitalized for bronchopneumonia, takes the stage at the end and is greeted by a long ovation. His presence during “Sono solo noi” gives the audience one of the most intense passages of the whole soundcheck.
The show, meanwhile, doesn't just take place inside the stadium. Hundreds of people follow the concert from the surrounding streets and from the terraces of the buildings near the Romeo Neri. Some residents host friends and relatives, others make their balconies available, even renting them to fans without access to the event in order to allow them to attend the evening.
The closing is entrusted to three unmissable classics from Vasco's repertoire: “Vita spericolata”, “Canzone” and “Albachiara”, sung in unison by a stadium already completely immersed in the atmosphere of the tour.
A dress rehearsal, that of Rimini, which showcases a set built on the recovery of the origins, on the strength of the songs and on a relationship with the public that continues to renew itself without losing intensity. And for Vasco Rossi, the real departure has already begun.
Last night's live dress rehearsal therefore revealed what Vasco Rossi's 2026 tour lineup will be, we propose it below.
I'm going all out
It's late now
Liver, mushy liver
A new song for her
Soap bubbles

I'm still in a coma
HI
Tomorrow yes, now no
Tango… (of jealousy)
Monday
Interlude 2026
Tide
We are alone
If I could tell you
(for what I have to do) I'm in the military
You shoot at him
There are those who say no
….Stupendous
Rewind
A better world
Light
Boredom
Sally
It's just us
Reckless life
Song
Albachiara
