The Rolling Stones got younger for the video for In the Starsthe single released about ten days ago taken from the album Foreign Tonguesarriving July 10 and produced by Andrew Watt.
In keeping with the classic Stones sound of the piece, director Francois Rousselet used deepfake technology to transport Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood back to the 1970s, perhaps even to a time when Wood wasn't yet in the band (he replaced Mick Taylor in 1975).
In the past Rousselet directed two videos for the Stones, Angry with Sydney Sweeney and Ride 'Em On Down with Kristen Stewart. This time the leading actress is Odessa A'zion. “It's my dream,” he says in a statement. «The first record I bought and listened to from start to finish was Tattoo You. I'm obsessed with the Rolling Stones. It's definitely on my bucket list to work with them.”
Here is the video and, below, the tracklist Foreign Tongues which we anticipated here and which includes the cover of You Know I'm No Good by Amy Winehouse.
