Available from Friday 29 November on all digital platforms and in physical black vinyl version, the rapper's new EP 18K,”Anti Anti“, For Universal Music Italy/Epic Records.
The album was preceded by the single “Distant” featuring i BNKR44out November 22nd, the first collaboration between the rapper and the band on a piece that takes inspiration from Witch House and punk.
The song, with a dark mood, “is about how, sometimes, we seem to get closer to what we want, only to discover, the moment we reach the place we intended, that what we really want is actually further away than we imagined.” tells 18K.
On the EP “Anti Anti“, the rapper wants to rebel against modern society and many of its aspects that he considers wrong, to try to bring about a change.
“In the album, I reflect on how, today, some ways of expressing one's opinion are wrong, even though the message may be right. In other cases, it is precisely the message that is problematic, often with violent and authoritarian connotations.” explains the author.
The songs, in addition to social themes, also touch on more personal aspects for the artist:
“As always, I believe that anyone who shares my vision or can understand my nature will immediately feel what the album is about, without the need for too many explanations. My advice is to listen to it with an open mind, letting yourself be guided by the sensations it arouses, without worrying too much about forced interpretations.”
