Alberto Cotta Ramusino, the artist's real name, began his career in music as a producer under the pseudonym Not For Us, then began writing his own lyrics and changed his stage name to Tananaibecoming one of the biggest revelations of the year 2022.
After the publication of his first EP “Piccoli Boati” in 2020, 2021 inaugurates a new phase of his career: the year opens with the publication of the single “BABY GODDAMN”, a song that becomes a real hit, obtaining the certification of triple platinumthe result of the 4th most listened to song in Italy in 2022 on Spotify and in the top 10 in the Fimi/gfk ranking of the best-selling singles of last year. In December 2021 Tananai is among the winners of Sanremo Youth with the song “Exaggerated”, thanks to which he won a place among the Big names competing at the 72nd Sanremo Festival in 2022with the single “Casual sex” (certified double platinum record). After participating in the Festival, public and critical attention is growing towards the young singer-songwriter, considered among the greatest revelations of 2022, with a completely sold out club tours and the collaboration in the summer hit “The sweet life” with Fedez and Mara Sattei, certified quadruple platinum disc.
In autumn 2022 “Abysmal”, certified platinuma single that paves the way for the first album of unreleased songs by Tananai “RAVE, ECLIPSE”, published on November 25 gold record certificateimage of the artist's two souls, the more festive one and the more introspective part.
After the success of fifth place in the rankings at 73rd Sanremo Festivalcompeting with “Tango”, whose video received great attention from the public and critics for telling the love story of Olga and Maxim, two Ukrainian boys separated by the conflict.
