Out from Friday 22 November on all digital platforms, for Meraki Music Group/Ada Music Italythe new single by Matsby,”The girl with a thousand songs“, first song from the second part of his new musical project “Bittersweet Blue Edition“.
The piece tells the story of the end of a relationship that occurs in a healthy way, when two mature people realize that they want to follow different paths and accept the change with deep respect and affection.
In “The girl with a thousand songs“, Matsby puts to music a moment of separation and personal growth with a bittersweet aftertaste, through indie-pop and sometimes rap sounds.
Thus the artist begins the second chapter of his latest EP “Bittersweet“, recounting a very important moment in his life, namely the mixed feelings he felt when he moved abroad, with a lot of enthusiasm on the one hand but on the other a great nostalgia for what he was leaving behind.
After the first part of the project, with a light and joyful style, this new chapter is more introspective, tormented and reflective, as demonstrated by the single “The girl with a thousand songs“, with a deep and emotional text.
The official video clip is also out with the song, with a nostalgic and cinematic style, which represents scenes from the film 500 days together.
