The Sziget Festival, the largest in Europe, has announced the first names on its bill for the 2025 edition. Once again, from 6 to 11 August next year the island of Óbuda, in the heart of Budapest, is preparing to welcome music lovers (and big names) from all over the world.
These are the first headliners announced: the Italian DJ Matteo Milleri – aka Anyma and one of the founders of Tale Of Us -, who will bring a show immersed in sounds and images to the Sziget main stage; and two of the pop “names” of 2024, Chappel Roan and Charli XCX. On the bill together with them are names such as Armin Van Buuren, Boris Brejcha, Justice, 999999999, I Hate Models, Adriatique, Fatima Yamaha, FJAAK, HoneyLuv, Hot Since 82, Kölsch, Korolova, Young Marco, Sama' Abdulhadi, Brutalismus 3000.
But it's not just electronic fans who will be satisfied: Nelly Furtado, Noga Erez, RY X, Blossoms, Fat Dog, Kenya Grace, Scarlet Pleasure, Ekkstacy, Zaho de Sagazan. And with a dive into the alternatives, the Papa Roach.
The anticipation for the new edition of Sziget is not over. As Tamás Kádár, CEO of the Festival, states, «Our goal is to create a vibrant experience, offering something that can connect everyone. Get ready for so much more — this is just the beginning, with many more names to come, plus a packed program of art, circus, theatre, social activism and cultural experiences.”
