Simona Molinari returns with the air, a song for the earthquake of L'Aquila

Simona Molinari come back with In the aira new version of one of his most intimate songs, 16 years after the earthquake that hit L'Aquilacity where it grew.

In the airoutgoing Friday 4th April in streaming and digital stores for Ada Music Italyis a song written in 2009 by it Molinari together with Gio di tunaborn from a personal loss and deeply linked to the tragedy of the earthquake. A song that invites us to reflect on the fragility of life and on the value of what we take for granted too often.

“In the air It is a song born for a friend I lost. It is linked to the L'Aquila earthquake of 6 April 2009, shortly after my first participation in Sanremor “he says Simona Molinari. “I often perform it in my concerts, but it was no longer available online. I decided to record it again with a new production and to make it available on the occasion of this anniversary“.

The song melts pop and indie in a refined and essential guise, built on acoustic guitars, piano, synth, cello and strings. A delicate and minimal production that focuses on the artist's vocal interpretation.

For this new version, Simona Molinari has relied on the production of Pisk (Roberto Costa) together with Four on Six. They played: Claudio Filippini (piano), Fausto Savatteri And Alessandro Centolanza (guitars), Martinino Pellegrini (arches and cello).
