There are records that stop being simple collections of songs to transform into real cultural manifestos.
Wednesday July 15, 2026the Visarno Arena in Florence it has become the sanctuary of a generation, welcoming the My Chemical Romance for the only, highly anticipated and exclusive Italian stop of their world tour.
A monumental event created to celebrate twenty years of “The Black Parade”the concept album that redefined the boundaries of alternative rock in 2006 and established the New Jersey band as a global legend.
When the lights went out, the atmosphere immediately became theatrical and solemn. Gerard Way, Ray Toro, Frank Iero and Mikey Way took to the stage to kick off the first, mammoth part of the show: the note-for-note performance of the entire The Black Parade. From the heartbreaking introduction of “The End.” and the discharge of “Dead!”the Visarno Arena exploded in an oceanic and liberating chorus on the notes of the generational anthem “Welcome to the Black Parade”.
