Now in its second edition, Musical contaminations – the event created by Eventi Verona Srl as part of the Veronese Summer Theater – highlights its international character in this summer of 2026, with almost half of the artists coming from Great Britain, Portugal and Argentina, as well as an Italian singer-songwriter who spent her childhood in Italy, Colombia, Canada and the Caribbean.
Musical contaminations stands out for its ability to combine different languages, internationally renowned artists and young singer-songwriters, creating a continuous dialogue between tradition and innovation, from jazz to pop, from rap to songwriting, from fado to swing, from tango to Brit-rock.

We start on June 27th with PAF Triothe acronym that includes Paul (Fresu) on the trumpet and flugelhorn; Antonello (Salis) on piano, accordion and percussion; And Fury (by Castri) on double bass. This is a legendary group of Italian jazz, which established itself between the mid-90s and the first decade of the new millennium. At the Roman Theater it returns to the stage twenty years after its dissolution.
With the second appointment, on the evening of June 29th, we ideally move to London, the city of the rock band White Liesreturned to the music scene with “Night Light”, their seventh studio album. After the sold out of the recent show in Milan, the London trio returns to Italy this summer with a new tour, offering a further opportunity to experience their energy live. The lineup includes: Harry McVeigh (vocals, guitar), Charles Cave (bass) and Jack Lawrence-Brown (drums).
The first guest singer-songwriter of Contaminazioni Musicali is Niccolo Fabiexpected on July 4th with a new show, in the wake of the recent album “Freedom in the eyes”. After the great response from the public on the occasion of the theatrical tour presenting “Freedom in the Eyes”, this summer Fabi returns to play live with his traveling companions, colleagues and friends, who have always been part of his musical universe: Roberto “Bob” Angelini, Alberto Bianco and Filippo Cornaglia. Together with them, Cesare Augusto Giorgini and Giulio Cannavale.
On July 5th we fly to Portugal with Dulce Pontesthe great interpreter who also conquered the maestro Ennio Morricone. Expected at the Roman Theater, the indispensable voice of fado and world music will be a guest of Contaminazioni Musicali with a show that retraces his 35-year career and will be accompanied by an exceptional quintet: Sérgio Pedroza on piano, Luis Guerreiro on Portuguese guitar, João Filipe on acoustic guitar, Cícero Lee on bass and José Pontes Gonçalves on drums.

On July 6th Contaminazioni Musicali offers Simona Molinarian Italian voice, awarded twice with the Targa Tenco, one of the highest awards in songwriting: as best performer for the album “Hasta siempre Mercedes” (2024), where she reinterprets the great folk singer Mercedes Sosa, and for the album “Petali” (2022). With Daniele Silvestri – at the Roman Theater on the evening of July 25th – we return to Italian songwriting. The stylistic code of this Roman singer-songwriter/storyteller combines the search for new writing with a high literary level with the response of the general public. In Silvestri, talent and tradition, expressive lightness and civil commitment mix.
But Contaminazioni Musicali is also an open window on young voices, like that of Joan Thielein concert on August 29th. After the success of the album “Joanita” and the exposure obtained on the stage of the Ariston theater in Sanremo (in the 2025 Festival with the song “Eco” and in 2026 as a guest of Nayt), the singer-songwriter announced the dates of the new tour, a further step in her artistic journey and consolidation of her identity and her musical vision.
To the other young voice of Contaminazioni Musicali – the singer-songwriter-rapper Coez – just one date wasn't enough. The appointment on 5 September is sold out, at the Roman Theater it doubles, with a new appointment on the evening of 6 September. His 2026 “live” show has a precise title: “From the rooftop” and refers to a project born in 2015 to revive some of his songs in a more intimate way, with different arrangements, and covers linked to his personal and professional journey.
