After announcing its headliners, the LARS ROCKFEST 2024from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th July in Public gardens of Chiusi (SI) with free admission, completes its line-up confirming itself as one of the most valid and courageous events of the Italian independent scene and beyond.
The festival will open on Friday 5th July with the Florentine duo The Standbetween breakcore and punk hardcore, a project that confirms and consolidates the partnership with the Rock Contest Of Counter radio.
Following are the two headliners: Crocodilesthe Californian duo with punk-pop anthems, mutant garage-rock, contagious fuzz-pop, danceable songs, but also hardcore death-rock, and the English Benefitswith their brutal and overwhelming noise, whose furious sound has earned them through word of mouth the following that most artists can only dream of.
On Saturday we leave early with the matineein the old town of Chiusi, of Any Otherthe main project of Adele Altro, a multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Milan, who has been active in the Italian and international music scene for several years.


In the evening we move back to the Public Gardens for the opening of the Flame Paradeat the Lars Rock Fest to present the 10 tracks of the latest album “Cannibal Dreams” and the dreamlike, liquid and dilated atmospheres of his dream-pop sounds.
Following the explosive performance of the Brighton quintet DITZwho returns to Italy with his abrasive and contagious sound after having opened the European dates of the recent IDLES tour. The evening will close with the Irish headliners Gilla Banda Dublin quartet who shun being pigeonholed into a single genre: pounding noise-rock guitars, heavy hypnotic drum beats, pained vocals paired with witty, often surrealist lyrics from frontman Dara Kiely.


It will be up to the Psyche opening the final day of Sunday 7 July, a project born from the recent collaboration between Marcello Giannini (Nu Genea Live Band, Guru, La Famiglia), Andrea De Fazio (Parbleu Tropico, Nu Genea Live Band, funky machine) and Paolo Petrella (La scimmia records, fratelli Malibu, Bassolino) to which was added Roberto Porzio (Parbleu, 24 grana, funky machine) on synths.
The Californian musician will close the eleventh edition with a bang Fantastic Blackrecently returned with “Grandfather Courage”, an acoustic version of the acclaimed fourth studio album “White Jesus Black Problems” (Storefront Records, 2022) with which he received a nomination at the Grammy Awards 2023 in the Best American Roots Performance category for the single “Oh Betty”.
