On Thursday 26 September, the Hiroshima Mon Amour in Turin vibrated to the rhythm of the highly anticipated return of La Crus. The band, which has written fundamental pages of Italian music, presented live the new album “Proteggimi da questo vovo”, released on March 22nd and received with enthusiasm by critics and the public.
The evening offered a perfect mix of novelties and great classics, retracing the splendid career of the band which began in Milan in 1995. Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi, Cesare Malfatti and Alex Cremonesi indelibly marked the music scene of the 90s, winning prestigious awards such as the Ciampi Award, the Targa Tenco and the Critics' Award.
The concert revived the intense atmosphere and energy that characterized the summer tour, thanks also to the talent of the new lineup which includes Chiara Castello, Marco Carusino and Leziero Rescigno. The audience was able to relive the emotions of iconic songs such as “Io Confesso” and “Come tutto time”.
“Proteggimi da cosa che vol”, produced by Matteo Cantaluppi and La Crus themselves, is a mature and engaging album, which confirms the band's ability to renew itself while keeping its artistic identity intact.
The concert at Hiroshima Mon Amour was a tangible testimony of this journey, an opportunity to celebrate an extraordinary career and enthusiastically welcome a new chapter in the history of La Crus.
