Move over Labubu, the biggest blind box trend this year could be KPop-themed.
Netflix has unveiled a new KPop Demon Hunters blind box, with a chance to pull one of six different mini plushies from a rameyon (Korean instant noodles) container.

Just like making instant ramen, your toy is revealed after you peel back the lid and pour water into the container. Dissolvable packaging inside opens up to reveal a “surprise noodle” bag, which can then be ripped open to see which mystery character you’ve collected.
Each rameyon cup contains one four-inch plush toy, chosen at random. The characters include Zoey, Rumi and Mira from HUNTR/X, along with Jinu, Derpy and Demon Jinu. The KPop Demon Hunters ramen cups are an officially-licensed collaboration between Netflix and toy company, Jazwares.
This mystery pack release is selling quickly online and you can also find it on the Hot Topic site if it’s sold out on Amazon.

CHANCE FOR ONE CHASE FIGURE

Mattel, meantime, sells these mystery “snack” packs that contain one KPop Demon Hunters figurine per pack. There are seven main figures to collect, from the HUNTR/X girls (in their demon hunting outfits) to the Saja Boys (in their “Soda Pop” looks), Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird. You also have a chance to pull a mystery “chase” figure.
Each plastic figure measures approximately four inches in size. Each can, meantime, also contains a collector trading card and a detachable clip to let you attach your Demon Hunters merch to a bag or to use as a keychain.

You won’t know which character you’ll get until you tear open the bag, but there are nine characters to choose from, spanning the HUNTR/X trio, the five Saja Boys members, and Derpy. Each pack also includes a sheet of KPop Demon Hunters stickers and an anime-inspired door hanger.
The Labubu craze last year spurred a rush of sales online, with retailers consistently reporting sold out stock, with the POP MART dolls eventually selling on the resale market for thousands of dollars. The continued success of the KPop Demon Hunters movie will no doubt inspire purchases of this new ramen-themed blind box drop too.
The KPop Demon Hunters ramen cups are the latest merch release from the Oscar-winning animated film. Netflix and Jazwares also unveiled an official Squishmallows collection this month, inspired by fan favorite characters from the streaming hit.
