“Lonely Cowboy”, presented last March 2nd in a spectacular event at the Colosseum in Rome, is their latest single! THE KALEOled by charismatic frontman JJ Julius Son, are Rubin Pollock (guitar), Daniel Kristjansson (bass, keyboard) and David Antonsson (drums, percussion). The band was born in 2012 and debuted in 2014 with the single “All the Pretty Girls”, certified GOLD. At the beginning of 2015, they signed an important contract with Atlantic Records, marking the beginning of their rise in the international music scene.
Their debut album, “A/B,” released in June 2016, launched smash hit singles like the double-platinum “Way Down We Go,” gold-certified “All The Pretty Girls” and “No Good,” which received a GRAMMY nomination for “Best Rock Performance.”
Their talent was confirmed by the second album “Surface Sounds” (2021), which climbed the AAA charts reaching the Top 6 with the singles “I Want More” and “Break My Baby”.
Their songs have been included in numerous films and television series, including the Marvel film “Logan – The Wolverine” (2017) and in the trailer for the fourth season of the series “Orange Is the New Black”, as well as in many TV series from Grey's Anatomy” to “Riverdale” up to FIFA 16.
The band has made its mark with performances on major shows such as Late Night with Seth Meyers, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Good Morning America. With over 4 billion global streams and countless sold out shows, KALEO is ready to embark on an exciting new tour!
Famous for their electrifying live performances, already appreciated on the stages of Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and opening for the Rolling Stones, we can't wait to hear them in Italy.
