Johnny Marr, an immortal icon of the Britpop scene thanks to his fundamental role in Smiths, recently announced two unmissable dates in Italy to celebrate his solo career and the publication of the “Spirit Power: The Best of Johnny Marr” collection (November 2023). On November 6, the British guitarist will go up to the Fabrique stage in Milan, while the following day, November 7, Bologna Extragon will host him.
Italian fans will have the opportunity to access the presale of tickets starting from 10.00 on Wednesday 23 April, with early access reserved for members of Comcerti Family and My Live Nation. Tickets will then be available to the general public through Ticketmaster and Ticketone starting from 10.00 on Thursday 24 April.
The “Spirit Power” collection, which celebrates the solo path of Marr, stands out for its search for a universal writing, as stated by the artist himself: “I wanted to write songs that could be listened to anywhere, at any time of the day.” With this work, Marr continues his evolution, more and more in tune with the new sound sounds, but never forget about his roots. An opportunity not to be missed to relive the unique atmospheres that have marked the music of the last decades, waiting for a live that promises to be a journey through the historical and most recent songs of its repertoire.
After the success of his album “Fever Dreams PTS 1-4” (2022), Marr continues to demonstrate an incredible artistic vitality, capable of renewing himself while remaining faithful to himself. If you are a fan of his unmistakable guitar and his unique writing, these concerts represent an indispensable opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Johnny Marr, a musical universe that continues to speak directly to our contemporaneity.
