The triple Milanese stage of Jameson's distilled sounds ended. We are talking about Jameson Distalated Sounds, the music campaign of the historic whiskey label, who saw the light in Dublin under the supervision of Anderson .paak and who had already been known in Italy with the concert at the Hacienda in Rome last December Starring Claudym, Bassi Maestro and Willie Peyote. The campaign, ambitious and bold, had been inaugurated precisely in the Irish capital by the sounds Distillery, an explosive event that, under the artistic direction of Andersoon .Paak, had involved 26 young talents from all over the world in different workshops, jam session and recordings. The idea? Mix genres and skills in a single experience, such as notes and aromas in a quality distillate.
At the center of the three Milanese events of the past few weeks there was Mecna: in addition to being the main guest of the concert at the Tenoha in via Vigevano last March 17 (which also saw Claudym and Bassi Maestro perform), the previous week was the protagonist, together with his work team made up of Gigi Barocco – among the most important sound engineers currently in activity in Italy – and the producer Lvnar, of two talking with the public in which the public was able The artists on the methods of creating a song. The first of these two meetings (on March 7th to the ghe think Mi) has translated itself into an interview at the same time very sectoral, with different technical excursus at the service of the numerous aspiring producers, artists and phonic present at the event, and popular, with very light moments and comparisons on various issues related to music in a wider sense: from the role of artificial intelligence in the music of the present and the future to the state of health of the Italian record market.

In any case, it was an opportunity to listen to three figures who carry out very different but complementary roles in the various stages of the creative process that leads to the birth of a song, and a sort of preparatory meeting at the study experience of the next morning. On March 8, Gigi Barocco opened the doors of his study in the Ripamonti area to several dozens of interested parties and has dissected the projects of some songs published by Mecna in recent years, showing their technical secrets in detail and offering his ten-year experience to the many sound technicians and producers present, revealing secrets on the plug-in used, on the techniques to return a competitive dynamic on the songs, annecdotes on experiences, Surreal in the studio – like that artist (“we do not make names”) who wanted at all costs to insert a trace of voice recorded in another room in the final publication compared to where he was a microphone – and reports on working dynamics in the large Italian discography. Finally, almost like a sort of end -of -year party, on March 17 there was the highly anticipated San Patrizio Concerto al Tenoha. An opportunity also chosen to pay homage to the Irish origins of the brand and which saw Mecna – in addition to the “usual” Claudym, Bassi Maestro and Goedi & Dj Filo (which were also present on the Roman date and who will replicate in May in Naples) – climb on the stage in front of thousands of fans who have stormed the place. The concerts began around 7pm, for five hours of music until midnight. The other protagonist was obviously the whiskey, with the signature drinks proposed for the occasion by Jameson's bartender.
Now appointment in May with the live event in Naples at the Basic Club to close this experience that, from the beginning, has the aim of creating connections between artists and fans through the values of the brand – authenticity, inclusiveness and desire to experiment. Precisely for the sharing of the same spirit, Rolling Stone Italia It is the main media partner of Jameson Distilled Sounds Italia: entry to events is free and subject to exhaustion, with registrations available through Eventbrite. An unmissable stop for music fans and for those looking for an experience that goes beyond the simple concert.
