The Band reference of the Post-Punk scene of Manchester, the Ist istalso stopped in Italy to present the new album “Light to Bigger Fire”, Published last September. Thursday 10 at the beauty of Milan.
The IST Ist project stands out of today's post-punk universe, developing more darkwave features and inspired by bands such as Joy Division, Fall and Certain Ratio. Through direct texts and instrumental stratifications, the songs of the new album exudate emotion and embrace the possibilities of pop without losing anything of their dark visions, finding a perfect hybrid between Dark energy and pop as Arena.
Short history of IST Ist
Born at the end of 2014, the IST IST forged a solid reputation thanks to the word of mouth generated by their lively live and uncompromising concerts, by their iron ethical of Mancuniana and from an ever -growing catalog of successes in the studio and live, all self -produced by their label Kind Violence Records.
The recent European tours and in the United Kingdom, in March and April, have seen them preview songs from the new album “Light a Bigger Fire”, in addition to their now large catalog, and have attracted over 8,000 spectators in nine countries. The scope of IST Ist has already extended beyond the coasts of the United Kingdom, exhausting the tickets for prestigious Venue in the Netherlands and Germany, despite the difficulties that British bands in Europe face today after the advent of Brexit.
Thanks to the support of realities such as BBC 6music, Radio X, XS Manchester, Kink, The Times and many others and with the new disc released on September 20, the IST Ist are ready to leave their mark everywhere.
