August 24 is Kobe Bryant Day (or Mamba Day) with the 24th day of the eighth month of the year representing the late basketball star’s two jersey numbers — No. 8 and No. 24 — that he wore during his 20-year career in the NBA. Available for $190, the Nike Kobe 10 Protro “Halo” sneakers — which were first released in 2015 — feature an updated design for modern basketball play with better comfort and the company’s full-length “Air Zoom” strobel underfoot for stability and form.
