After the EP Kalimera, Emili Kasa returns with a new single available in digital stores from June 26, 2026. Goodbye (anger, I swear, how are you) – this is the title of the piece – addresses the theme of goodbyes that never really arrive and remain suspended between anger, affection and words stuck in the throat.
The singer-songwriter from the Marche offers a song built around a simple and painful question: what happens when you can't really say goodbye?
Emili Kasa tells the weight of the words left pending
In the chorus of Goodbye (anger, I swear, how are you) a phrase is repeated that almost becomes an attempt at reconciliation with the past. The song was born from the desire to find meaning in a last missed farewell, transforming fragmented memories and precise images into a reflection on the bonds that continue to exist even after a separation.
It's not just the end of a relationship. At the center of the song is the fragility of people and the difficulty of accepting that some conversations can remain incomplete forever. Emili Kasa expresses the awareness of how precarious personal bonds are.

“Goodbye (anger, I swear, how are you)”: a story without introductions
The song is produced by Francesco “Cecco” Massiddawhich chooses an essential path. Piano and strings support the voice of Emili Kasa without overloading the story, leaving room for words and interpretative nuances.
One of the peculiarities of the piece is the absence of a real introduction. The song begins immediately, as if the listener is entering a conversation that has already begun. A choice that recalls the way in which pain often presents itself in real life: without warning, bringing to the surface what seemed archived.
Between love, anger and unanswered questions, the song tries to give voice to that stubborn desire to be able to pronounce at least once the words that you haven't been able to say at the right time. As the text says: “The truth is that we are so fragile / and seeing each other for the last time hurts so much / I just wanted to say goodbye“.
