Cimini come back with Tomorrowthe new single out on Friday 19 June 2026 for The Record Clinic And Sony Music Italy and Garrincha 373. To accompany the publication of the song there is a particular initiative: before even listening to the official version, fans and musicians will be able to try to guess the melody by taking part in a challenge launched on social media by the artist.
Starting from chords, lyrics and BPM made available by Ciminiparticipants will be asked to create their own interpretation of the song. Those who come closest to the original version will have the chance to open one of the singer-songwriter's summer dates.
Who is CIMINI
Calabrian by origin and Bolognese by adoption, Cimini over the years he has built a personal space for himself in the Italian indie-pop scene thanks to direct and recognizable writing. In 2025 he released the album Tragic Almost Magical Worldfollowed by Magical Tour in clubs.
With the new single he inaugurates the summer of 2026 by returning to work on light and immediate sounds without giving up the melancholic component that characterizes much of his repertoire.
What Tomorrow is about
Tomorrow born in an essential form, voice and guitar, and develops a story that revolves around the relationship between present and future. The title recalls a possibility that is still open, but also the tendency to postpone what could be experienced immediately.
In the chorus the story of Sara takes shape, the protagonist of a summer love destined to end quickly. The song thus invites us to focus on what is happening in the present instead of continually waiting for what is to come.
The atmosphere alternates lightness and nostalgia, following the typical passage of summers that seem endless but always end too quickly
A song between indie pop and international suggestions
From a musical point of view, Tomorrow moves on up-tempo and luminous coordinates. The song recalls some sounds attributable to the Beatles and Gorillaz, while maintaining the singer-songwriter style that has always identified the production of Cimini.
The result is a song designed to accompany travel, days at the beach and summer evenings, while maintaining that bittersweet aftertaste that also emerges in the lyrics.
