Barely three days after dropping Music, Fashion, Film, her highly anticipated follow-up to Brat, Charli XCX is cutting to the chase by releasing the B-sides for her new LP exclusively on iTunes. There are three new songs in total—“I Keep on Thinking Bout You Every Single Day and Night,” “Playboy Bunny,” and “If You Take Away the Music Then What Has She Got?”—and each one comes with a black-and-white music video, keeping in line with the album’s visual themes.
On her private Instagram, Charli XCX explained why she chose to release these songs now, writing, “I made b sides for each of the songs released ahead of Music, Fashion, Film because it felt natural to pair each songs with a fitting counterpart – something that’s adjacent to the album but not entirely part of it. traditionally, b sides often become fan favorites… and I guess in the case of some of the b sides for this album, that has proven to be true. I felt adamant I wouldn’t put them on streaming because it sort of felt counter intuitive to the whole ethos of those songs, but I know you all really wanted them so I’ve begrudgingly put them on itunes lol. you can call me a hypocrite, I don’t mind 😉 love you all and I hope you enjoy these special songs in ur ears xx”
Music, Fashion, Film is Charli XCX’s second full-length album of 2026 following the Wuthering Heights soundtrack. Next month, she heads out on her short arena tour, with a number of festival stops including Lollapalooza and Outside Lands.
