Carly Rae Jepsen is back, with a new album on the way. Following a barrage of teaser posts over the last couple of weeks, the ever-prolific pop singer has revealed that her official follow-up to 2022’s The Loneliest Time will be a 24-track double LP. Day and Night is out September 18 on Interscope. This Friday, Jepsen will release the record’s lead single, “On Wires.” Check out the cover art below.
According to press materials, Day and Night is divided into two 12-song halves. The “Day” half is reportedly inspired by ’70s psychedelic pop, while “Night” will zero in on the dancefloor. A full tracklist has yet to be revealed.
As is now tradition, Jepsen followed up The Loneliest Time with a b-sides companion album, The Loveliest Time. Last year, she reissued 2015’s much-lauded E•mo•tion in a deluxe edition including four previously unreleased tracks. Jepsen will headline the 2026 New York edition of All Things Go Festival on September 26.
