Brian Wilson died. The creative genius of the beach boys, as well as one of the great musical minds of his generation, was 82 years old.
The children gave the announcement: «We are struggling in announcing that our beloved father Brian Wilson died. There are no words now. Please respect our privacy in this moment of mourning for our family. We know that the whole world shares our pain. Love & Mercy ».
The cause of the death is not known. Last year it had been revealed that the musician suffered from a form of neurocognitive disorder. After the death of his wife and manager Melinda, he had been considered unable to manage himself independently and put under protection.
