The Martoriators make his debut with “Bloodpainted Vision of Perpetual Conflict”, published by the Norwegian Edged Circle Productions, offering an incalzing black-death metal test that immediately recalls the minds of war and devastation.
The Italian project, a great experience composed of Súrnamar-guitar, bass and voice-and the drummer Gau-18a, starts his career directly with an album, trying a proposed proposal, where the roar of the battle is evoked not only by the violence of music, but also by the strategic use of sample which, in some moments, amplify the brutal and bloody atmosphere.
Although the term 'War Metal' is now widely used, the sound of the marewolor is more properly and classically inside a ferocious Black-Death Metal, characterized by a sharp and belligerent riffing that moves in a border area between the martiality of the Angelcorpse and the intransigence of some Marduk works. The incessant and pounding drumming of Gau-18a, which recalls the machine gun effect of “Panzer Division Marduk”, contributes to creating an intense and breathing sound experience, with a solid and powerful production that at the same time guarantees an adequate presence to the sound metal components of the sound.
Without a doubt, this is not a record in which to seek dynamic purposes and superstructures of a certain refinement, but the intransigent concept, combined with a certain care in the bearing guitar themes, still produces a well -designed and immediately effective tracklist, with pieces such as “Chaos Protocol” or “Red Flowers of Nanjing” to emerge soon from the lot, thanks also to a sound resort that, even if By preserving an undoubted rawness, it allows you to appreciate the solidity of the compositions and the power of execution.
“Bloodpainta Vision of Perpetual Conflict” in short, marks a convincing debut for the marewolor, a band that already seems to have a strong identity and a well -defined direction. The Italian duo manages to convey a feeling of eternal torment that affects the sign, thanks to a winning combination of executive precision, stylistic consistency and a production that leaves nothing to chance. If the future of the project follows this trajectory, perhaps adding some more pronounced variations along the way, the Martoriators could carve out a significant space in the landscape affine in the world 'War'.
