We held a short interview with Beatrice Quinta in the studies of Sony to talk about his first EP Devoted released on May 17th. Fatima it will be the first single from the EP again from May 17th. We are faced with a singer-songwriter who is working hard to build her path, a strong awareness of what she wants in this moment.
Devoted it's his first Ep, contains six tracks that delve deep into the singer's intimacy. Erotic and sincere, we also rediscover its roots through this sonic journey with a tribute to Rosa Balistreri (well-known Sicilian singer with incredible vicissitudes).
Devotee I chose it the moment I started to be devoted to myself and devoted to the people I loved in my life.
The six tracks are like slides of Beatrice's psyche who needs to transform pain into music, this is her business card.
It is the end of a journey, because it talks above all about my life in Palermo, about my adolescence, it puts the stone over what I didn't know were traumas.
I no longer wanted to be ashamed of what happened to me, and how I felt… everyone has the right to feel bad and to say so if it happens.
An EP is a nice introduction while an album is a finished body. I was interested in having a chapter, not a book
Who will listen to his EP he will probably feel encouraged by pointing out that there are always possibilities for redemption and overcoming difficulties.
I hope listeners see themselves in a message of redemption but there is always a way out.
Finally, a specific message for women who are approaching the world of music but I think it applies to everyone.
Never be afraid to say what you think. Don't be afraid to annoy, actually annoy. There will be no one who believes in you more than yourself.
