“Vespers”, the first EP of BAUSANarises from this relationship between experience and transformation. The five songs that make up the album outline a fragmented and coherent path, built on subsequent returns and variations.
The writing moves between essential images and repetitions that open up the meaning, returning a narrative that proceeds through emotional stratifications rather than linear development, allowing an urgency to emerge that settles over the time of listening.

On the sonic level, “Vespers” interweaves an alt-rock of singer-songwriter origin with more rarefied openings and controlled distortions. Highlighted bass, granular guitars and atmospheric synths define a dynamic balance between melodic component and sound material, building a compact but continuously changing space. Tracks such as “Catene”, “Ex 5”, “Autunno” and “Veramente” compose a single sonic and emotional environment, in which each track acts as a variation of the same narrative nucleus. A cohesive work emerges, in which form and writing converge in a constant tension between nostalgia and transformation.

BAUSAN
The sound of BAUSAN is the result of the meeting of four different personalities from different musical backgrounds. The mix of genres and influences gives life to a rich and melancholic sound, which combines guitar riffs with dreamlike and dreamy atmospheres. Texts of an ethereal-existential nature intertwine with distorted sounds, mixing a singer-songwriter vein with sounds that range from grunge to post-rock.
BAUSAN is an alternative rock project born between Milan and Ferrara at the beginning of 2024. The group is made up of four elements: Andrea Bianchi (vocals and guitar), Alessandro Corneo (guitar), Giuseppe Mazza (drums) and Amedeo Itria (bass). A long-standing friendship and a musical understanding developed over the years were the founding elements that led to the birth of the project. Between academic studies and numerous live performances, the alchemy grew in a very short time together with the artistic need to express oneself, resulting naturally in the creation of new material.
The band, after releasing the first single “Se non hai niente” in September 2024, is back from 2025 with intense live activity. From acoustic concerts in the Milanese province, such as the Tambourine club in Seregno (MB), up to historic underground venues in Milan, such as the Detune and the Legend Club. In the first months of 2025, in parallel with the live concerts, a phase of recording sessions began at the Duotone Studio of Daniele Zanotti, sound engineer and producer of the band. Following the collaboration with the Milanese company Costello's Agency, this phase will culminate with the release of the band's first EP, scheduled for June 2026.
