THE Bad Nerves are a 5 piece Powerpop-RocknRoll band from East London. Born from a one-night stand between the Ramones and the Strokes, they play distorted, ferociously fast pop songs, with melodies that can hook so deeply that even the most skilled of lobotomizers would struggle to scratch them.
The band received acclaim for Dreaming, Radio Punk and Can't Be Mine (released on the UK National Anthem label), attracting the attention of numerous BBC Radio 1 DJs, including Dan P Carter, Clara Amfo, Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart and Annie Mac, who included Can't Be Mine in her prestigious “New Names” selection.
Dubbed “the crowned princes of power pop” by Radio One's Daniel P. Carter, Bad Nerves intend to set a new standard for adrenaline-fueled pop-rock music. The band kicked off 2020 with a memorable performance at Eurosonic. During the touring hiatus that same year, the band got to work completing their self-titled debut album. Bad Nerves' self-produced and self-financed album was released in October 2020 via Killing Moon records (UK/ROW) and Suburban records (Europe). With fans growing by the week, the band returned live in 2021 with an explosive performance at Reading and Leeds festivals and recently returned from four sold out shows in Holland. Bad Nerves are ready and waiting to bring their fresh brand of Powerpop-RocknRoll to new fans.
Following the success of previous singles 'USA', 'You've Got The Nerve' and 'You Should Know By Now', the band recently joined The Hives on their sell-out UK tour. Written and recorded in the same spider-infested garage that spawned their self-titled debut album, Still Nervous is destined to be 'the greatest second album in the history of second albums'. It's a record that simmered in the background as Bad Nerves took their frenetic live show around the world.
After the Berlin date (read here) last night they performed at the Circolo Magnolia in Milan.
