When Pusha T eviscerated Drake on 2018’s “The Story of Adidon,” he set the bar for all future Drake teardowns. The blackface cover art. Pusha’s methodical and theatrical delivery, building flawlessly to the Adonis reveal and the mocking “tick, tick, tick.” A concise three minutes that permanently cracked the image Drake had been meticulously crafting all his adult life, and which he has been desperately trying to Gorilla Glue back together for the last five years. Kendrick Lamar’s “euphoria” is not that—it’s six minutes of rambling over two of the worst beat switch-ups you will ever hear. But it is…
Orlando Weeks has dropped his simmering new single ‘Dig’ featuring Wet Leg‘s Rhian Teasdale – watch the video below. The former Maccabees frontman has released his latest music in anticipation of his forthcoming album ‘Loja’, scheduled to drop on June 6 via Fiction Records – presave the album here. ‘Dig’ is described by Weeks as an “under your breath half-argument, the kind that only ever happens in public,” featuring jabs such as “I’m so far from it on the other shore / I dig my heels into the hardwood floor”. Weeks added: “‘Dig’ is a tit for tat exchange where…
The former president called the deadly 2017 white supremacist rally a “peanut” in comparison to anti-war protests Amid his ongoing criminal hush-money trial, former President Donald Trump called the 2017 white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, which led to the death of a woman, a “peanut” in comparison to anti-war protests calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. “We’re having protests all over,” Trump told reporters outside of the courtroom on Thursday, referring to the pro-Palestine demonstrations taking place across the country. He added, “[Biden] was talking about Charlottesville. Charlottesville was a little peanut! And it was nothing compared — and the hate…

The Department of Justice revealed on Tuesday that it will distribute close to $139 million to victims in response to 139 “administrative claims arising from allegations of sexual abuse” committed by the disgraced ex-USA gymnastics physician Larry Nassar, according to a statement. “For decades, Lawrence Nassar abused his position, betraying the trust of those under his care and medical supervision while skirting accountability,” Acting Associate Attorney General Benjamin C. Mizer said in a statement, via ABC News. The settlement will resolve the mishandling of the highly-publicized case by the FBI, which failed to properly investigate the allegations of abuse as…

Ted Russell Kamp just can’t quit L.A. Despite an extended stint in Seattle and growing up in Upstate New York, Kamp is a California country-rocker through and through, and his latest album, California Son, reads like a love letter to the Golden State. But it’s also a snapshot of one of the most prolific, if under the radar, careers in country music. A Grammy-winning musician and producer, Kamp is revered by those in the know for his work with Shooter Jennings, with whom he’s played since 2003, but he’s also worked with icons like Jessi Colter and Tanya Tucker, along…
