StubHub has reportedly spent millions of dollars in an effort to stop a bill that would cap ticket resale prices. According to state filings seen by The Hollywood Reporter, the secondary ticketing company reported nearly $6.2million in lobbying expenses in California between April and June. It comes as lawmakers are considering the California Fans First Act, which would prevent tickets to eligible live entertainment events from being resold for more than 10 per cent more than their original price. Four siblings who sued the Michael Jackson estate for sexual assault are facing a setback after a Los Angeles federal judge ruled that their dispute must be resolved in private arbitration. Judge Hernán D. The four adult Cascio siblings who allege Michael Jackson sexually abused them on interstate or international trips when they were minors have lost their bid for a public trial of their child sex trafficking claims and must instead go to private arbitration with Jackson’s estate, a federal judge has ruled.
