Oliver Tree, the musician and comedian behind pop hits like “Miss You” and “Life Goes On,” has died, reports the Associated Press. Tree was reportedly on board one of two helicopters that collided mid-air this morning in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A post emerged in recent days purporting to be from the Morrissey Central blog, the site on which the singer and former Smiths frontman regularly posts. K-pop veterans Big Bang have announced a new global stadium tour, their first run of shows since 2017. The Seoul group, who consist of G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung, following the departures of T.O.P and Seungri, will play a run of 31 huge shows in celebration of their 20th anniversary as a band. Cocaine-related deaths have reached record levels in the UK amid a surge in the availability of “ultra-strength” forms of the drug. New figures show cocaine was linked to 1,279 deaths across the UK in 2024, an increase from 1,118 the previous year and the highest number since records began, according to a report by The Independent.
