It comes out on Friday 19 June New Past Love (Part 2)the final chapter of the album by Anna and Vulkanout for Pluggers / Columbia Records / Sony Music Italy. The second part was anticipated by the single Miez o' windreleased on April 24, and completes a record conceived from the beginning as a story in two acts.
With this release the project started in November 2025 with the first part ends. A personal story, that of an intense love lived to the full but never truly accomplished, which the artist from Torre Annunziata brings to a conclusion not with the end of a relationship, but with the acceptance of having let it go.
Anna and Vulkan, New Past Love (Part 2): the tale in two acts
If the first part moved entirely within the desire, the expectation and the contradictions of a bond impossible to forget, the second changes perspective. The emotions remain alive but leave room for a new awareness: some stories are not destined to come true, and this conclusion is accepted without anger or regret. It is the same passage that the artist, in his stage name, has always linked to Vesuvius, present outside the window of the house and symbol of the return.
The end of the album brings the story back to Naples and its surroundings, which become a geographical and emotional setting. Songs like Quanno o' sole blackberries And East coast they close the circle by intertwining memories and landscapes with intimate writing. Part of the project also passes through a long email correspondence lasting two years, partly reported in a zine created by Anna herself, which accompanies the release of the album to complete the songs.
The artist herself explains the meaning of the entire work: “I'm very happy to conclude this album which was a wonderful way for me to process a whole series of emotions and events linked to a fairly long period of my life. I think it's truly fortunate to be able to rely on music to put order to everything that happens to us.”

Inside the songs of the second part
The trailblazer single Miez o' windItalo-disco with Mediterranean atmospheres, tells the conflict between the desire to maintain a bond and the awareness of a distance now taken. It is the song that marks the transition from the first to the second part, more oriented towards awareness than emotional urgency.
Among other songs, East coast was born from a real walk from Castellammare to Vico Equense, told without metaphors, while Quanno o' sole blackberries closes the album: the image of the setting sun and the shrinking moon becomes the final farewell, the time to board the last train. There is also room for a more intimate theme in It's already night nowwritten in Naples during Christmas, where the artist faces insomnia and the intrusive thoughts that amplify at night, clearly describing work on herself which she also carried out in therapy.
