Led by Tosin Abasi, the Animals as Leaders catapulted into the mainstream spotlight in 2014, when their third release, “The Joy of Motion,” marked a new peak on the Billboard Hard Rock. The push on the accelerator was immediate: incorporating jazz, electronica and avant-garde elements and creatively pushing beyond the stratosphere, the Animals as Leaders dare beyond all expectations, backed by Sumerian Records, reaching impressive heights and global acclaim for their dizzying technicality and jaw-dropping melodies, which saw Tosin himself recognized among Guitar World's “Guitarists of the Decade”.
