The Alanone of the most interesting bands on the Italian rock scene, are ready to surprise the audience with a new, bold reinterpretation of a timeless classic of Italian music: “City jungle” by Adriano Celentano.
Originally published in 1982, “City Jungle” is a song that marked an era, becoming a true anthem for generations. With their cover, Alan pay homage to Celentano and his creative genius, proposing a version that keeps the original message intact, but covers it with modern and powerful sounds, typical of the industrial rock genre.
“We chose 'Giungla di città' because we believe that its message is still very relevant”, explains Andrea Chirico, guitarist of ALAN.
“The city as a jungle, the struggle for survival, alienation: these are themes that still resonate in our society today. We wanted to give new life to this song, making it more current and engaging for a younger audience without betraying its spirit.”
Alan's cover of “City jungle” is an explosive mix of distorted guitars, pounding rhythms and dark electro atmospheres, which blend with the intense voice of frontman Alex Malaguti. The result is a powerful and engaging version, which captures the essence of the original song and projects it into a new dimension.
“We want those who listen to our cover to feel part of this urban jungle, to feel the same emotions that we felt when making it”.
The related video contains elements created entirely through Artificial Intelligence to reinforce the concept of depersonalization and alienation of society. It tells of dystopian landscapes not too far from a near reality

The Alan they are an Italian band formed in 2019 with over 100,000 listens on Spotify and 250,000 views on YouTube.
Electro rock arrangements that look to a glorious past, a sound clearly inspired by the 90s, a fast-paced rhythm: for ALAN making music means taking sides, not being afraid to say what you think, trying to subvert the system.
