Out from Friday 6 December on all digital platforms the new EP by Peter White,”Aperitif“.
The announcement comes just weeks after the release of the singer-songwriter's latest single, “I will never forget“, and a few months after the previous song “The golden hour“, both pieces with which the artist started a new chapter in his musical career.
The new project has a different style from the latest albums by Peter Whitewhich this time takes inspiration from Italian songwriting and the sounds that made him fall in love with music in the past, finding its maximum expression in the songs of “Aperitif“.
“I often say, half jokingly, that I was born in the wrong decade, even if at the same time I am proudly a child of my time. This is why “Aperitif” is the perfect meeting point of this splendid oxymoron.
My songs would like to reflect this fusion of eras, recalling the songs that my parents and grandparents made me listen to, such as “Parlami d'amore Mariù”, “Non Arrossire” and “Senza fine”. The kind of music that brings to mind the image of a little boat swaying placidly in the middle of a summer, above a sparkling sea, with two glasses of wine. All obviously pervaded by the magic of black and white and a certain elegance in dressing. I enjoyed writing, playing, singing and imagining this album, creating it step by step.” tells Peter White.
