A few weeks after the start of his 18-date tour – almost completely sold out – in the arenas of Rome and Milan, Max Pezzali never ceases to surprise fans and announces “Max Forever Vol.1“, his new album, out December 13th for Warner Music Italy.
The album is the first chapter of a series of analogue volumes that will celebrate the most famous songs published by the singer-songwriter during his important career, and is available from tomorrow in pre-save and pre-order in standard digital CD formats and in the special double denim version colored vinyl and in the special autographed version.
“It's a lucky period in my career, the affection I've received in the last two years is really something that fills my heart and that in all honesty I had never received in the previous 30. For this reason I liked the idea of 'doing a cassette', as it used to be done, with a few tracks that we revised, redid in the studio, made it sound a little better, performed live.
We will then make more 'cassettes', that's why you read 'volume 1′. I like to think of creating anthology volumes by playing a bit with those which are now more your songs than mine. See you around as always, at our parties!” writes Max to fans on his social media.
The album will contain 16 unreleased reinterpretations of historical songs, ready to shine in a new guise like gems; among these we find feats with special guests, songs played live and others in acoustic versions.
The songs will be featured on the departing singer-songwriter's tours.”This forum is not a hotel” And “This pala is not a hotel“, starting next December 28th from Milan.
But not only that, Max Pezzali has in fact recently announced another special live appointment: “Max Forever – Grand Prix“, on 12 July 2025 at the Imola Autodrome.
