The new recording project includes three new songs, including the first single “SUMMER 80”.
The EP represents 3 different nuances of the concept of summer song: the 3 songs differ from each other both in lyrics and in sound, ranging from the celebration of friendship and union at the basis of the collective (“MOVEMENT”), to the more melancholy nuances of a summer love in the power ballad “I'D RATHER“, up to the lighter and more light-hearted atmospheres of “SUMMER 80”, which presents a sound that mixes vintage, pop and modern electronic sounds.
Here's how the group explains the idea of publishing this project:
“The idea of making this EP was born a month ago. The goal was to experiment with more summery sounds, but above all, to refresh the set list of our concerts and give something positive and fun to listen to our fans, while waiting for the album that will arrive this year.
The three songs that make up 44.SUMMER were born, composed and recorded in our bunker. They are different tracks, but part of the same creative flow. For this reason the best choice was to incorporate them into a separate project”.

Fares, Erin, Caph, JxN, Faster And Small with “SUMMER 80” they draw on nostalgic and captivating 80s synths, with a guitar riff that interpolates the unforgettable hit “Stars sons” Of Alan Smiling. The song is presented as a one-way trip to escape the ordinary, a dance on the turntable, a love that reaches up to the stars, during the hottest summer there is.
