Saturday Night Live has revealed its early fall lineup of hosts and musicians. Halloween will feature Inde Navarrette hosting with Gracie Abrams performing. Druski will host Nov. 7 with the Strokes performing, and John Mulaney will host his seventh episode on Nov. 14 with Phoebe Bridgers as musical guest.
Navarrette turned heads (and her character turned crazy) earlier this year in the horror hit, Obsession, making her a perfect fit for All Hallow’s Eve. She has also signed on to portray Rogue in Marvel’s upcoming X-Men reboot.
Abrams, of course, will be promoting her recent Daughter From Hell album, which Rolling Stone awarded four-and-a-half out of five stars in a review. “Right from the opening of Daughter From Hell, on the synth-happy ‘Hit the Wall,’ Abrams tries to navigate why she ‘lives in a pattern of breakdowns,’” the review said. “She cleverly sneaks Joni Mitchell, her North Star, into a line: ”A Case of You’ playing in the hallway/Hallucinations that I downplay.’ It sets the tone for the rest of Daughter From Hell, because just like the Canadian legend, Abrams knows her best weapon is her songwriting — no knives needed.”
Druski will be SNL‘s first-ever influencer host, though he’ll likely be hyping his upcoming Netflix scripted comedy series, Collect and Praise. Mike Epps is co-starring alongside him on the show. The Strokes, meanwhile, will be playing songs off their recent Reality Awaits album.
Mulaney, of course, has a long history of Saturday Night Live, where he worked as a writer before making a name for himself as a standup comic and, more recently, acting. He’ll be promoting both his upcoming standup tour, Mister Whatever, and Madden, an upcoming biopic about the famous NFL coach, which features Mulaney as Trip Hawkins, founder of video game company EA Sports. And Bridgers will allow cameras (just this once) to capture her performing songs from Lost Weekend, another album that scored four-and-a-half out of five stars in a Rolling Stone review.
